WHAT IS CARBON CLEANING??

​A Carbon clean is a preventative service and whilst we recommend a Carbon clean alongside your annual service, we also recommend for it to be completed when and where possible.

It is cleaner, produces less waste and fewer emissions. The hydrogen burns at a higher rate than fuel. When driving at high speeds on a motorway, your engine will reach very high temperatures. What we have created is a way to simulate motorway speeds but while the car at idle on your driveway. Because the hydrogen is burning faster along with fuel the engine will reach optimal temperature at idle. While this cycle is in process, the hydrogen is stripping the carbon from the walls of the engine and parts. This is a very safe way and will not over heat the engine or damage anything along the way.
The hydrogen´s higher temperature burn rate and that explosive force splits and cleans the carbon atom (soot) that collects in the engine. With a cleaner engine you get better mileage, quieter engine, better fuel economy, better response,  and to recover lost BHP over the years!

How it works:

1. The Specialised Carbon-K Machine uses electrolysis to split De-Ionised/ KOH enriched water into Hydrogen and Oxygen Gases

2. The Hydrogen Gas is safely installed into the engine via the Intake system while the Engine is Idling

3. Hydrogen-enriched air enters the Combustion Chamber, burning at higher temps and safely and efficiently breaks down baked on Carbon Deposits

4. The carbon deposits are expelled via the Exhaust System, leaving engine components cleaner and performing better

5. The process is safe non-invasive (no dismantling of engine components/ Intake systems etc.) and usually takes between 30 - 60min.

6. The vehicle is then road tested for a further 30-45 min

How much does this cost?

The De-Carbon Treatment costs R1564 incl. VAT (2 hrs Labour) which includes the post-clean road test

When do I need this: If you're symptoms include Erratic Idling (hot or cold), Illusive Misfiring, Engine Shaking/ Vibrations, Smelly CAT's, 

Blocked DPF's, Emissions related warnings/faults, Pre-Igniting (Pinking), low/ weak engine response etc. 

Please note: The usual "suspects" must be checked and confirmed to be in good working order first eg, Spark Plugs, Coils, HT Leads,

Fuel system/ Injectors, Compression and Timing, no Intake Leaks, EVAP system etc.
